Queen Silver Star the 56th
Being busy is an understatement. This past year I have been on the tips of my toes 24/7 and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I cannot thank the community of Vernon enough for their support, and hospitality throughout my time as a Vernon ambassador. Representing Vernon this past year has been a remarkable experience, where I’ve met members of the community that hold a special place in my heart. The connections I’ve retained with fellow ambassadors across our province are unforgettable and have taught me valuable lessons. My journey started with the amazing support from my sponsor, Paradigm Naturopathic , Mel and Dr.Chris Spooner. You and your team are truly amazing and I enjoyed every moment of representing your business, as well as all your unconditional love and support that you give me, thank you so much! The support from all of the local businesses that helped the program and me in any way they can, you efforts are appreciated greatly. Princess Sneha Suniara, well done this year, I wish you the best for your future endeavours. To my second family, thank you for always making me feel welcomed, your caring and helpful words always seem to help in the best of times as well as the hardest times. To my family, I’d like to give you all a big hug for helping me chase my dreams in anything I aspire to do. While everything seemed impossible and there were thousands of obstacles in the way, you were all there with a helping hand. To my siblings, Jorja and Hayden, who continue to give me a hard time and always remind me of my roots, thank you. To my parents, words cannot describe you two. I am blessed and cannot thank you enough, you two have been through everything and anything, and it makes me very proud to be your daughter. It is a bitter sweet ending in regard to my title, I’m anxiously awaiting the future and what it holds for me.
Saying that, I am and forever will be, Queen Silver Star LVI, Madison Catt.

“You must make a choice to take a chance or your life will never change.”
Choices, Chances, Changes. These are the three C’s of life and the lines I adopted when I began this wonderful journey a year and a half ago as a candidate. Being a candidate and then an ambassador of this beautiful city was very challeng, as it brought me out of my shell. It has been one of the busiest and most eventful year of my life, but from all the wonderful opportunities I experienced and beneficial skills I learned, from the various classes I attended, I have gained the confidence I now possess. My candidacy wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my loving and caring sponsors, Cheryl and Jack Gareb of Gareb Holdings Ltd. Thank you so much Cheryl and Jack for everything you have done for me. To the Winter Carnival Committee, the Queen's Committee, the judges, and chaperones ( Sue, Betty, Coleen, and Antonya), thank you for your endless efforts and time making this the wonderful program it is today and for getting us to our many events in town and to our weekend trips to various communities throughout B.C.To my chairperson, Sandra Simao, thank you for being supportive, understanding, and giving us your time out of your busy life and for being there for us when needed. To my mom, I will never be able to thank you enough, you have been my biggest supporter throughout this journey and i am eternally grateful for all the sacrifices you have made. To my brother, thanks for always being there with your bright smile, for showing your support at all my events, and for putting up with my “Royal Attitude”.Special thanks to Centre Dry Cleaners for keeping our banners and dresses in the best condition possible, to Maureen Krause of Krause Jewellers for repairing and shining our crowns when we really needed it, and thank you to Hilltop Subaru for providing us with a brand new vehicle during winter carnival week.To Madison, the Queen, I have had a great time with you and made many memories that I will never forget and to Miss Congeniality, Jenna Smith, I love your beautiful smile and I enjoyed the great times we spent together. To all 10 new candidates, I wish you the best of luck in this program and in your future, you all are beautiful, strong, and smart personalities and I’m sure you all will do great.I am proud to be an ambassador of this great city, where I have been born and raised, thank you Vernon.
With that being said, I am and forever will be Sneha Suniara, Princess Silver Star the 56th.
