Total Fun Bed Races

A fun event where the teams participating can create their racing machines from the ground up. A Race track will be set up in Vernon – location Kal Tire Place Lower Parking Lot- where the teams will race for victory. The winning team will win 1 years bragging rights, along with their name on the coveted Winter Carnival Bed Races Trophy. We can’t wait to see your creative masterpieces!
Rules:
1) 1 teammate must ride on the bed during the race.
2) 4 – 6 teammates needed to push the bed
3) Beds must have 4 wheels. These can be bike tires, car tires, chair wheels…etc but all 4 wheels must be in contact with the ground at the finish line. The bed must be constructed in a fashion that all pushers are able to see the course. Push Bars(handles) are allowed, but may not extend more than 16” from the bed frame with no sharp edges. Be as creative as possible!!!!
